Vincent - SA-T7 MK - Stereo Tube Preamplifier

With the SA-T7 MK, Vincent has further improved on a preamplifier that raises the standard for pure amplification of music signals.

After several successful years, Vincent have revised their reference preamplifier. The SA-T7 becomes the SA-T7 MK. Beside the modernised design, the preamp also has a Bluetooth input, which allows you to transfer your music from any mobile phone or tablet to the unit easily.

The new SA-T7 MK still combines linear amplification with extremely low levels of unwanted noise thanks to the BestPentode circuit developed by Dipl-Ing (Master of Engineering) Frank Blöhbaum inside the SA-T7 MK, essentially eliminating distribution noise typical of vacuum tubes.

BestPentode Tube

The SA-T7 MK stereo preamplifier has many selling points that make it a fine addition to your Hi-Fi system. The most notable of these is it's linear amplification method, which results in an extremely low level of noise introduced into the signal. Far lower than any other preamplifier in its range. This is achieved with Vincent's new valve technology.

The BestPentode device has a higher level of amplifying small noise than other triodes. This high-level grid pentode type CV6189 tube displays its whole potential. This tubes are new old stock (NOS) from storage that were used for amplifying high-frequency signals around the clock in telecommunication.

The impedance converter consists of a grid triode. The noiseless power supply connectors of the BestPentode device provides for an extremely pure audio transmission. Vincent developed their own module called Vimala (meaning in Sanskrit "pure, transparent and clear") for this purpose.

Adjustable
The SA-T7 MK's front panel features gain and tone-control options that allow you to make fine adjustments to the sound of your source material before it even hits the main amplifier. Make tone adjustments with the treble and bass dials on the front of the unit. Deactivating the Tone switch on the front of the unit bypasses these controls, giving you an easy method of listening direct, so you can choose to hear your source material with or without adjustments.

Connection Options
The SA-T7 MK includes connections for a wide range of audio sources, accepting both analogue sources via the 6 stereo RCA inputs, and digital sources via the Optical and Digital Coax inputs as well as a new Bluetooth wireless input. The digital inputs let you enjoy two-channel audio from Blu-ray players, streaming devices, set-top boxes, CD players, etc.

In addition to this on the output side, the SA-T7 MK offers two stereo RCA-type preamp outputs along with one stereo RCA-type 'Record' out.
