Sydney Hi-Fi Mona Vale Returns Policy

At Sydney Hi-Fi Mona Vale, we are committed to providing high-quality audio equipment and excellent customer service. Our returns policy complies with Australian Consumer Law and ensures your consumer rights are protected.

Consumer Guarantees

Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.

Returns for Major Problems

You may choose a refund or replacement if an item has a major problem. A major problem occurs when the item:

  • Has a problem that would have stopped someone from buying it if they had known about it
  • Is unsafe
  • Is significantly different from the sample or description
  • Doesn't do what we said it would, or what you asked for, and can't be easily fixed

Alternatively, you may choose to keep the item, and we will compensate you for any drop in value.

Returns for Minor Problems

If the problem is not major, we will repair the item within a reasonable time. If we do not repair it within a reasonable time, you can choose a refund or replacement.

Change of Mind

We do not offer refunds or exchanges if you simply change your mind about a purchase.

Proof of Purchase

Please retain your proof of purchase (e.g., receipt or invoice) to facilitate the returns process.

How to Make a Return

  1. Contact our customer service team to discuss the issue with your product.
  2. If eligible for return, bring the item to our store along with your proof of purchase.
  3. Our team will assess the product and provide an appropriate remedy as per Australian Consumer Law.
