Overview

The KEF KW1 is a wireless subwoofer adapter kit made up of a small transmitter and receiver. It removes the cable run between your system and a KEF subwoofer, so the sub can be placed where it works best in the room.

The transmitter is powered by USB, and the receiver plugs into and is powered by the subwoofer's expansion port. The link runs in the 5 GHz band at up to 24-bit/48 kHz, with a range of up to 30 m line of sight. A KW1 RX receiver is also sold separately, so one transmitter can feed two KEF subwoofers.
