Overview
The Ci5160REFM-THX is a Ci-Reference in-wall speaker built around KEF's 12th generation Uni-Q driver array with Metamaterial Absorption Technology (MAT). It is KEF's first in-wall speaker to carry THX Certified Dominus, the highest THX performance class, and is intended for large dedicated home theatres and living spaces.
Four 160 mm bass drivers sit above and below the Uni-Q array on an 11 mm precision-machined aluminium baffle. KEF designs, engineers and hand-builds the Ci-Reference range in Maidstone, UK.

- Three-way design with a 125 mm Uni-Q midrange and 25 mm vented aluminium dome tweeter at its acoustic centre
- Metamaterial Absorption Technology behind the tweeter, which KEF rates as absorbing 99% of unwanted rear sound
- 4 x 160 mm aluminium cone bass drivers with a vented motor system designed for in-wall use
- Bass extension to 32 Hz (-10 dB) as rated by KEF
- THX Certified Dominus
