Overview
The KEF KASA 2-250M is a two channel network DSP power amplifier for custom installation, multi-room and outdoor audio systems built around KEF architectural, landscape and in-wall speakers. It pairs Class D amplification using a GaN FET output stage with AKM Velvet Sound converters and KEF's Music Integrity Engine (MIE) DSP, which applies processing matched to each connected KEF speaker model.
KEF rates the KASA 2-250M at 250W per channel into 4 ohms with both channels driven, or up to 500W with the channels bridged. Setup, source routing and zone volume are handled from a web browser, and the 2U chassis is passively cooled for quiet operation in a residential rack.
