Sculptural Design Meets High-End Wireless Sound

The KEF LS LUXE Wireless HiFi Speakers combine reference-level acoustic engineering, powerful integrated amplification and elegant industrial design in one complete wireless music system. Created in collaboration with renowned designer Ross Lovegrove, each cabinet features a fluid, organic form designed to enhance both acoustic performance and the visual character of the listening space.

Inside, KEF’s 12th-generation 165 mm Uni-Q® Driver Array works alongside Metamaterial Absorption Technology, Velocity Control Technology and the Music Integrity Engine® to deliver detailed, controlled and room-filling sound. With integrated streaming, HDMI eARC and comprehensive digital and analogue inputs, the LS LUXE offers premium hi-fi performance without requiring separate amplifiers, streamers or extensive cabling.

Designed by Ross Lovegrove

The LS LUXE was sculpted in collaboration with British industrial designer Ross Lovegrove. Its curved, low-diffraction enclosure is designed to minimise unwanted cabinet vibration and reduce acoustic interference around the drivers.

Rather than appearing as conventional audio equipment, the LS LUXE becomes part of the room’s architecture. The smooth proportions and premium finishes allow the speakers to function as both a high-performance music system and a contemporary design statement.

12th-Generation Uni-Q Driver Array

KEF’s signature Uni-Q Driver Array positions the tweeter at the acoustic centre of the midrange and bass cone, allowing the drivers to perform more like a single point source.

The LS LUXE uses a 165 mm aluminium low and mid-frequency cone with a centrally mounted 25 mm vented aluminium dome tweeter. This arrangement helps distribute sound more evenly throughout the room, creating precise imaging, natural tonal balance and a broad listening area.

Metamaterial Absorption Technology

Behind the tweeter sits KEF’s advanced Metamaterial Absorption Technology, engineered to absorb 99% of the unwanted sound generated behind the driver.

Reducing this rearward energy helps minimise distortion and improves high-frequency clarity. Vocals, instruments and subtle recording details can sound cleaner, more open and more natural, even during complex or high-volume passages.

Velocity Control Technology

The LS LUXE introduces KEF’s Velocity Control Technology, also known as VECO, to a wireless speaker system.

VECO uses motion-sensing feedback to monitor and dynamically correct the movement of the Uni-Q driver. By actively reducing distortion and power compression, the system helps maintain accurate, controlled performance across different listening levels and room environments.

Current-Drive Amplification

Each LS LUXE speaker incorporates dedicated amplification engineered specifically for its drivers. A 280-watt Class D amplifier powers the low and mid-frequency section, while a 100-watt Class AB amplifier drives the tweeter.

The current-drive amplifier design regulates the current supplied to the drivers, helping maintain precise energy delivery and reduce distortion. Because the amplification, DSP and Uni-Q drivers are developed as one complete system, the LS LUXE removes the uncertainty of matching separate audio components.

Music Integrity Engine

KEF’s Music Integrity Engine uses proprietary digital signal processing algorithms to coordinate the drivers, amplifiers and cabinet acoustics.

The system manages timing, phase behaviour and frequency response to create a more coherent presentation. This allows music to sound focused and balanced while preserving the detail, scale and dynamics of the original recording.

High-Resolution Wireless Streaming

The KEF LS LUXE supports network audio playback at resolutions up to 384 kHz/24-bit, depending on the source material.

Wireless or Wired Speaker Connection

The primary and secondary speakers can communicate wirelessly for a clean and flexible installation. When connected wirelessly, audio sources are resampled to 96 kHz/24-bit PCM.

For the highest possible interspeaker resolution, the included Ethernet cable can connect the two speakers directly, supporting playback resampled to 192 kHz/24-bit PCM.

HDMI eARC for Premium Television Sound

An integrated HDMI eARC input allows the LS LUXE to connect directly to a compatible television through a single HDMI cable.

This makes the speakers suitable for films, television, gaming and music without requiring a separate soundbar or AV receiver. HDMI eARC supports audio resolutions up to 192 kHz/24-bit, depending on the connected source and television.

In addition to wireless streaming, the LS LUXE includes a comprehensive selection of physical inputs for televisions, digital transports, turntables with compatible phono stages and other audio equipment.

The optical input supports resolutions up to 96 kHz/24-bit, while the coaxial input supports up to 192 kHz/24-bit.

Dual Subwoofer Outputs

Dedicated subwoofer outputs are provided for both channels, allowing deeper bass to be added to the system while maintaining balanced low-frequency integration.

Compatible powered subwoofers can be connected directly using cables or integrated wirelessly with the optional KEF KW1 Wireless Subwoofer Adapter.

Control Through the KEF Connect App

The KEF Connect app provides access to streaming services, playback controls and system configuration from a compatible smartphone or tablet.

Users can adjust equalisation settings to suit the room, speaker positioning and personal listening preferences. This allows the LS LUXE to be optimised for different spaces without complicated external equipment.

Premium C3 Remote Control

A premium C3 remote control is included with the LS LUXE. It features an aluminium faceplate, backlit buttons and a customisable Favourite button for convenient access to frequently used functions.

The remote provides straightforward control when a phone or tablet is not nearby.
