About the Solstice 3
Overview
The Triangle Solstice 3 is a 2-way bookshelf speaker from the Solstice range, which replaces Triangle's Esprit series. It pairs a 25 mm magnesium alloy barrel-type horn tweeter with a 16 cm natural cellulose pulp midwoofer in a bass reflex cabinet with a laminar vent. Triangle recommends it for rooms of 10 to 35 m², in a Hi-Fi system or a home cinema setup.
The Solstice 3 is sold as a pair and comes in four finishes: Teak, Birch, Black Ash and White.
Design and Construction
- Barrel-type horn tweeter: a 25 mm magnesium alloy dome developed for the Solstice range.
- 16 cm midwoofer: a natural cellulose pulp cone with Triangle's latest voice coil assembly.
- Laminar vent: bass reflex loading through a laminar port.
- Multi-function base: an integrated base under the cabinet.
- Protective grilles: included, one per speaker.
Matching Stand
Triangle's S05 stand (sold separately) is the matching stand for the Solstice 3.
