KUBE 10b MIE

KEF Kube 10 MIE Subwoofer

The KEF Kube 10 MIE is a compact yet powerful 10-inch active subwoofer designed to deliver deep, controlled bass for music, films, television and gaming. Positioned as the mid-sized model in the Kube range, it combines strong low-frequency performance with a cabinet that is easy to place in a wide variety of rooms and entertainment spaces. KEF describes it as a versatile option for buyers who want a balance of output, control and room-friendly design.

At its core, the Kube 10 MIE features a 10-inch front-firing long-throw driver in a sealed cabinet, powered by a 300W RMS Class-D amplifier. According to KEF, this combination is engineered to provide impressive bass extension and control, with the front-firing driver using a large cone area and high excursion to achieve stronger low-frequency output. The sealed enclosure also supports cleaner bass response and flexible placement in living rooms, media rooms and home theatre setups.

The subwoofer is enhanced by Music Integrity Engine® (MIE), KEF’s DSP platform, which is designed to help all parts of the system work together more effectively. KEF says this includes iBX Intelligent Bass Extension, which dynamically improves bass depth and precision across different listening levels. For shoppers searching for a compact home theatre subwoofer, 10-inch sealed subwoofer, or KEF subwoofer for music and gaming, the Kube 10 MIE offers a strong mix of performance, compact proportions and modern bass optimisation.

Connectivity is also built for flexibility, with RCA phono inputs, speaker-level inputs, and an expansion port for the optional KW1 wireless adapter. The Kube 10 MIE also includes three room position EQ options to help maintain good performance in different placements, along with Auto Wake Up, Always On, and 12V trigger power modes for easier everyday use. For anyone looking for a high-performance sealed subwoofer that combines manageable size with solid bass authority, the KEF Kube 10 MIE is a strong all-round choice.
