Overview
The KEF KASA 8-150M is a eight channel network DSP power amplifier for custom installation, multi-room and outdoor audio systems built around KEF architectural, landscape and in-wall speakers. It pairs Class D amplification using a GaN FET output stage with AKM Velvet Sound converters and KEF's Music Integrity Engine (MIE) DSP, which applies processing matched to each connected KEF speaker model.
KEF rates the KASA 8-150M at 150W into 4 ohms on a single channel and 135W per channel into 4 ohms with all eight channels driven, with up to 300W available per bridged pair. That suits larger distributed systems with many speaker zones from a single 2U, passively cooled chassis.
