The Marantz MODEL 70 brings decades of hi-fi engineering into a beautifully refined integrated amplifier designed for modern listening.

Delivering 50 watts per channel into 8 ohms, the MODEL 70 combines Marantz Class A/B amplification, Current Feedback topology and proprietary HDAM-SA3 circuitry with a toroidal power transformer and Linear Drive power supply. The result is clear, dynamic and engaging sound across vinyl, digital sources, television and wireless playback.

Refined Marantz Class A/B Amplification

At the heart of the MODEL 70 is a high-current Class A/B amplifier delivering 50W per channel into 8Ω and 65W into 4Ω.

Marantz's Current Feedback Topology is designed for wide bandwidth and fast transient response, while proprietary HDAM-SA3 Hyper Dynamic Amplifier Modules replace conventional integrated amplifier stages in critical areas of the signal path.

A toroidal power transformer, Linear Drive power supply, Schottky diodes and substantial aluminium heat sinks provide the stable electrical foundation needed for clean, controlled amplification.

The result is an open and composed presentation with the precision to reveal subtle detail and the authority to confidently drive a wide range of loudspeakers.

ES Sabre DAC for Digital Sources

Digital sources are handled by a high-quality ES Sabre digital-to-analogue converter, helping the MODEL 70 extract greater clarity and detail from connected digital components.

Dedicated optical and coaxial inputs allow compatible CD players, network streamers, televisions and other digital sources to be connected directly to the amplifier.

This means both analogue and digital sources benefit from the same carefully engineered Marantz amplification stage.

HDMI ARC for Better TV Sound

The inclusion of HDMI ARC makes the MODEL 70 particularly versatile in a modern entertainment system.

Connect a compatible television via HDMI and route TV sound directly through the amplifier and your stereo loudspeakers. Films, television programmes, concerts and streaming services can all benefit from the scale, clarity and stereo imaging of a dedicated hi-fi system.

Bluetooth with aptX Adaptive

For convenient wireless listening, the MODEL 70 supports Bluetooth with aptX, aptX HD and aptX Adaptive.

Compatible smartphones, tablets and computers can connect directly to the amplifier, making everyday wireless playback simple while supporting higher-quality Bluetooth transmission from compatible devices.

Built-In MM Phono Stage

Vinyl listeners can connect a turntable directly to the MODEL 70 through its integrated Moving Magnet phono stage.

With standard RIAA equalisation and an input sensitivity of 3.1mV into 47kΩ, the phono input is designed to work with a broad range of MM cartridges.

There is no need for a separate external phono preamplifier, making it easy to incorporate vinyl into a streamlined two-channel system.

Flexible Analogue Connectivity

Alongside its phono input, the MODEL 70 provides four analogue audio inputs, allowing multiple traditional hi-fi sources to remain connected.

A pre-amplifier output and dedicated subwoofer output provide additional system flexibility, whether adding low-frequency reinforcement or integrating the MODEL 70 into a more advanced audio setup.

Source Direct mode can bypass tone-control circuitry when a more direct signal path is preferred.

Headphone Listening

A dedicated headphone output allows the MODEL 70 to provide the same convenient centralised source control for private listening.
