The DP-770 is Accuphase's flagship one-box disc player. A high-rigidity, high-precision traverse mechanism with an outer-rotor brushless DC motor reads the disc accurately, and the ES9028 PRO runs as an 8MDSD/8MDS++ converter across eight parallel channels to turn that data into analogue. ANCC and the company's other noise suppression work do the rest. For a system that should not need a separate transport and DAC, this is the answer.
