The E-800S is the flagship of the Accuphase integrated amplifier range and the closest the company comes to putting a full separates system into one chassis. Its preamplifier section uses Balanced AAVA volume control, while the power stage applies the instrumentation amplifier principle to a six-fold parallel push-pull output of power MOS-FETs running in Class A. Linear output is 50 watts into 8 ohms, doubling to 100 watts into 4 ohms and 200 watts into 2 ohms, with a damping factor of 1,000 for absolute grip on the loudspeaker.
