Built to mark Accuphase's 50th year, the DC-1000 is the company's reference digital processor. It runs the ES9038 PRO as an 8MDSD converter for DSD and 8MDS++ for PCM, driving eight channels in parallel to deliver close to three times the performance of a single-channel implementation. ANCC noise cancelling and parallel signal amplification, both refined in Accuphase's amplifier development, take the noise floor to a level where very low-level detail simply appears rather than being dug out.
