The DP-1000 is the result of fifty years of Accuphase transport development, and it exists to do one thing exceptionally well: read the disc. A high-rigidity, high-precision drive with an outer-rotor brushless DC motor turns the disc smoothly and silently, while newly developed dampers isolate the pickup from vibration. A low centre of gravity, reinforced frame and programmable playlists round out what is arguably the finest disc transport Accuphase has built.
