The Krix Seismix 1 Mk7 is a compact active subwoofer designed to add greater depth, impact and low-frequency energy to movies, music and gaming systems.

Powerful 8-Inch Low-Frequency Driver

The Seismix 1 Mk7 uses a nominal 200mm (8-inch) doped paper cone driver engineered specifically for low-frequency reproduction.

Its 38mm (1.5-inch) voice coil is wound on a high-powered aluminium former and paired with a vented magnet assembly, helping the driver handle demanding bass passages while maintaining controlled movement.

350-Watt RMS Class D Amplification

An integrated high-efficiency Class D amplifier module supplies 350 watts RMS, with maximum instantaneous power rated at 700 watts.

By integrating the amplifier directly with the subwoofer driver, Krix can optimise the system for efficient low-frequency reproduction while eliminating the need for a separate external subwoofer amplifier.

Deep Bass Down to 25Hz

The Krix Seismix 1 Mk7 provides an in-room frequency response of 25Hz–200Hz, adding the low-frequency foundation that smaller speakers can struggle to reproduce on their own.

Automatic Signal-Sensing Power

The Seismix 1 Mk7 includes signal-sensing automatic power control.

When no input signal is detected, the subwoofer waits approximately 15 minutes before switching to standby, providing convenient everyday operation without requiring manual power control each time the system is used.

Optional Wireless Receiver Support

A built-in USB-C connection providing 5V/1A can be used to power an optional wireless receiver.

This gives installers additional flexibility when a conventional wired subwoofer connection is difficult or undesirable.
