About the R200A
Overview
The Yamaha R200A is a two-channel stereo receiver that replaces the R-S202. It combines a stereo amplifier, a radio tuner and a Bluetooth receiver in one full-width component, with inputs for a turntable, a CD player and other analogue sources. Yamaha rates it at 100W + 100W into 8 ohms (40Hz to 20kHz, 0.2% THD, both channels driven).
According to Yamaha's user guide, the Australian model has a DAB and FM tuner with up to 40 presets each. A/B speaker switching runs two pairs of speakers, in one room or across two rooms, and a subwoofer pre-out lets you add a powered subwoofer. Yamaha lists a centre-beam chassis, binding-post speaker terminals, revised grounding circuitry and a redesigned heat sink.
Bluetooth and Radio
