Sonos Beam Ultra Dolby Atmos Soundbar
Immersive Sound from a Compact Soundbar
The Sonos Beam Ultra is a compact Dolby Atmos soundbar designed to deliver expansive surround sound, clearer dialogue and powerful bass without dominating your entertainment space.
Nine Class D amplifiers, dedicated upward-firing drivers and advanced acoustic processing create a spacious 7.1.2-channel listening experience from a soundbar measuring just 750mm wide. It is ideal for movies, television, gaming and music in small to medium-sized rooms.
True Dolby Atmos Sound
Dedicated upward-firing tweeters direct sound towards the ceiling to reproduce Dolby Atmos height effects.
Sounds appear to move above and around the listening position, adding greater depth and realism to compatible films, television programs, games and Dolby Atmos Music.
A compatible television, HDMI eARC connection and Dolby Atmos content are required for the complete experience.
Nine-Driver Acoustic System
The Beam Ultra features nine Class D digital amplifiers individually tuned to its acoustic architecture.
Five tweeters reproduce detailed high and midrange frequencies, including two side-firing tweeters for greater stereo separation and two upward-firing tweeters for spatial audio. Four low-profile woofers add bass impact without requiring a separate subwoofer.
Clearer Dialogue with AI
AI Speech Enhancement detects human voices and improves their clarity when action becomes intense or background noise makes dialogue difficult to hear.
Four enhancement levels are available through the Sonos app, allowing you to adjust dialogue clarity to suit the content and room.
Trueplay Room Tuning
Sonos Trueplay™ measures how sound interacts with the walls, furniture and surfaces in your room.
The system then fine-tunes the soundbar’s equalisation for more balanced performance. Trueplay tuning is supported on compatible iOS and Android devices.
Night Sound for Quiet Viewing
Night Sound reduces the intensity of louder effects while bringing quieter details forward.
This makes late-night viewing more comfortable without constantly adjusting the volume or disturbing others in the home.
Simple HDMI eARC Connection
Connect the Beam Ultra to your television’s HDMI eARC or ARC port using the included HDMI cable.
The Sonos app guides you through setup, and your existing television remote works automatically for everyday volume control. An optical adapter is available separately for compatible televisions without HDMI ARC.
Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.3
Stream music over Wi-Fi through the Sonos app and compatible services, or connect a Bluetooth-enabled device for direct audio playback.
Apple AirPlay 2 is also supported for streaming from compatible iPhone, iPad and Mac devices.
Multiple Ways to Control
Control the Sonos Beam Ultra using:
-
Your television remote
-
Sonos app
-
Capacitive touch controls
-
Sonos Voice Control
-
Compatible music-service apps
-
Apple AirPlay 2
-
Bluetooth-enabled devices
A physical microphone switch on the rear disconnects power from the microphones when voice control is not required.
Expandable Home Theatre System
The Beam Ultra can operate as a standalone soundbar or become the foundation of a larger Sonos home theatre system.
Add a compatible Sonos Sub for deeper bass and a pair of compatible Sonos speakers for dedicated rear surround channels. Additional Sonos products are sold separately.
TV Audio Through Sonos Headphones
TV Audio Swap lets you transfer television sound from the Beam Ultra to compatible Sonos headphones.
This allows one person to enjoy private Dolby Atmos listening while the room remains quiet.
Slim, Minimal Design
At only 65mm high, the Beam Ultra fits neatly beneath most televisions without obstructing the screen.
Its matte cabinet is available in Black or White and can sit on an entertainment unit or be installed using the optional Beam Ultra Wall Mount.
