About the Kaleidescape Strato V Flagship
Strato V Movie Player
The next generation of movie player technology. Providing 4K Dolby Vision playback with lossless audio decode, Strato V works on its own or as a part of a larger Kaleidescape system.
- Reference video for every 4K display. SDR, HDR10, and now Dolby Vision.
- Lossless spatial audio. Clear dialog and immersive sound effects.
- Standalone. Includes 960GB solid-state storage.
- Scalable. Add a server for more movies on demand and more players for whole house entertainment.
- Ultimate performance. New electronics and grounding topology for audiophiles.
Visionary
Uncompromising picture quality. Strato V plays 4K movies in standard dynamic range, HDR10, and Dolby Vision with superb upscaling of HD and SD quality content to 4K resolution.
Lossless Audio
Strato movie players provide lossless audio, maximizing sound quality with a range of downstream components. Strato supports multichannel and spatial audio codecs including Dolby Atmos, Dolby TrueHD, DTS:X, and DTS-HD Master Audio. Kaleidescape’s lossless audio makes your processor, amplifiers, and speakers sound the way the director intended. The dialogue is clearer, and every subtle sound and rumble draws you deeper into the story.
Standalone System
When standalone, Strato V stores approximately 10 reference 4K movies on an internal, solid-state drive. Featuring a new streamlined interface, Strato V is optimized for navigating a small movie library. Strato V can download a Kaleidescape 4K movie in as little as 10 minutes over gigabit Ethernet. Downloads become a candidate for automatic deletion 48 hours after playback, making room for more movies. Purchased movies can be re-downloaded at any time.
Immense Scale
An investment that grows with you. Want room for more movies or players in additional rooms? Unlock the full Kaleidescape experience by grouping Strato V with Terra Prime movie servers. Any number of Strato V movie players can be grouped into a system, with up to four servers per system. Grouping with a server activates the iconic Kaleidescape covers view and list menus for navigating large movie libraries. It also unlocks Kaleidescape’s parental control settings and proprietary child remote, for a customizable family-friendly experience.
Elevated Installation
Kaleidescape rack shelves and wall mount solutions are available for a custom install.
Cinema design
Part of something bigger.
The Kaleidescape Strato V Flagship is one piece of a room. We design the screen, speakers, acoustics and seating around it, then install and calibrate the lot, so it all works as one.
