Overview
The AudioQuest Golden Gate 3.5mm to 3.5mm Extension is an analogue audio cable with a 3.5mm male mini-jack plug at one end and a 3.5mm female socket at the other, so it works as an extension. AudioQuest builds it with solid Perfect-Surface Copper conductors, foamed-polyethylene insulation and metal-layer Noise-Dissipation.

- Metal-layer Noise-Dissipation, AudioQuest's design that absorbs and reflects RF noise before it reaches the layer attached to ground
- Cold-welded, gold-plated terminations, joined by a high-pressure process with no solder
