About the Golden Gate 3.5mm to 3.5mm
Overview
The AudioQuest Golden Gate 3.5mm to 3.5mm is an analogue audio cable with a 3.5mm male mini-jack plug at each end. AudioQuest builds it with solid Perfect-Surface Copper conductors, foamed-polyethylene insulation and metal-layer Noise-Dissipation.

- Solid Perfect-Surface Copper (PSC) conductors, drawn with AudioQuest's proprietary metal-processing to protect the wire surface
- Foamed-polyethylene insulation with a high air content
- Asymmetrical Double-Balanced Geometry, which separates the ground and shield paths, designed by AudioQuest for single-ended connections
- Metal-layer Noise-Dissipation, AudioQuest's design that absorbs and reflects RF noise before it reaches the layer attached to ground
- Cold-welded, gold-plated terminations, joined by a high-pressure process with no solder
