ALC-30B

The OFC Series balanced interconnect brings Accuphase's cable engineering to XLR termination, for use between the company's fully balanced components. The centre conductor pairs highly pure oxygen-free copper with silver-plated soft copper, and shielding combines 192 braided 0.1 mm high-purity copper wires with aluminium foil tape for low capacitance and strong noise rejection. Balanced operation rejects noise picked up along the run, which matters more the longer the cable becomes. This is the 3m length, terminated with XLR plugs.

Key features

• Center conductor core wires are a combination of highly pure oxygen-free copper wires and silver-plated soft copper wires, providing excellent transfer characteristics.
• Shielding is provided by 192 ultra-fine 0.1 mm high-purity copper wires braided to a high density, plus a layer of aluminum foil tape. This dual approach results in low capacitance and gives extra protection against any form of externally induced noise.
• 6.Shielded conductor (Braided shield)
