Streamer

A streamer or streaming device is a sound source that allows you to stream audio into an Amplifier. Think of a streamer as being equivalent to a record player or a CD player. Instead of playing a CD or record they play an audio file. Some amplifiers and wireless speakers have streamers built into it and some don’t. Dedicated streamers allow you to add this to any amplifier that doesn’t have it or if you’re looking to upgrade the quality of the stream.
