Developed over a decade, the Nd3 moving magnet cartridge sets a new standard in moving magnet technology. The Nd range (patent pending) is the world’s first to utilize ultra-high-powered Neodymium magnets, creating a unique and revolutionary design.

Advanced Technology

Each Nd3 cartridge is meticulously hand-made by our highly skilled technicians. It features a brand-new generator geometry with perfect symmetry for accurate channel balance. The Nd3 also boasts an optimized pole gap for superior linearity and cross talk characteristics, resulting in a significantly wider soundstage than previous models. This innovative cartridge is crafted with miniaturized parallel coils wound in-house using 38-micron wire with just 1275 turns. This design produces a low inductance, low impedance generator, vastly improving high-frequency response. In line with our commitment to sustainability, the Nd range comes in 100% recyclable packaging.

Nd Magnet Technology

While Neodymium (Nd) magnets are often used in Moving Coil designs, we believe the Nd3 is the first moving magnet cartridge to utilize a Neodymium (Nd) N55 magnet. As the world’s most powerful commercially available magnet, it provides the extra power necessary for this unique design, surpassing standard bar magnet designs.

Glass-Filled PPS Body

The Nd3 is housed in a zero-tolerance injection-molded glass-filled polyphenylene sulphide (PPS) body. This lightweight, highly rigid material reduces stress on tonearm bearings and ensures free movement, critical for accurate vinyl playback. The new body design draws inspiration from our successful MC range.

Cantilever & Stylus Profile

The Nd3 features an aluminium cantilever fitted with a precision elliptical stylus. This profile offers exceptional tracking accuracy and extracts high levels of detail from vinyl records.

Factory-Fitted Options

Rega Rebuild Scheme

Rega cartridges feature a unique pivot pad design that eliminates the mechanical joint between the stylus housing and the main body, vastly improving tracking ability and stylus stability. If your Rega cartridge becomes damaged or worn out, return it to your Rega dealer for a rebuild. Each rebuild, featuring a new cantilever, stylus, and pivot pad, is fully tested to ensure performance. The rebuild is offered at a reduced price, equivalent to a replacement stylus from other manufacturers.
