DELA S1 High-End Audiophile Network Switch
Flagship Network Switch for Premium Audio Systems
The DELA S1 Network Switch is a flagship audiophile network switch engineered for high-performance music streaming and advanced network audio installations.
Developed from more than a decade of DELA network-switch design, the S1 combines seven Neutrik RJ45 Ethernet ports, four SFP+ connections, adjustable link speeds, unused-port isolation and external 10MHz clock compatibility.
Its sophisticated network architecture is housed within a full-width, vibration-resistant chassis featuring a large transformer, dedicated capacitor bank and NDK ultra-low-jitter clock. The result is a purpose-built network component for reference music servers, streamers, Roon systems and other premium Ethernet audio equipment.
Designed for High-End Network Audio
The DELA S1 provides a dedicated connection point for the Ethernet-enabled components within a premium audio system.
It can connect compatible equipment including:

Seven Neutrik RJ45 Ports
The S1 features seven Neutrik RJ45 Ethernet ports selected for their high mating accuracy, durability and secure physical connection.
Each RJ45 port supports:
- 10Mbps
- 100Mbps
- 1Gbps
The adjustable speeds allow each connection to be configured around the capabilities and requirements of the attached network audio equipment.
Four High-Speed SFP+ Ports
Four SFP+ ports provide additional flexibility for compatible optical modules and direct-attach cables.
Each SFP+ port supports:
- 1Gbps SFP operation
- 10Gbps SFP+ operation
- Compatible optical network modules
- DELA C1 SFP direct-attach cables
Compatible 10Gbps connections can be useful for systems involving high-bandwidth servers, network storage and advanced digital audio infrastructure.
Module compatibility and supported link speed should be confirmed before installation. The four SFP+ ports provide a combined maximum supply current of 1.8A at 3.3V.
Adjustable Link Speeds
Front-panel controls allow the connection speed for the S1’s ports to be adjusted without accessing a software-management interface.
The RJ45 ports can be configured for 10Mbps, 100Mbps or 1Gbps, while the SFP+ ports can switch between 1Gbps and 10Gbps when supported by the connected modules and equipment.
The selected speed must be compatible at both ends of the connection. Mismatched SFP modules or cables may prevent network communication.
Electrically Disable Unused Ports
Unused network ports can be electrically shut down through the S1’s controls.
This allows the switch to be configured specifically around the active components in the audio system without leaving unnecessary ports operating.
Ports can be reactivated when the system expands or the network configuration changes.
NDK Ultra-Low-Jitter Clock
The S1 incorporates an NDK ultra-low-jitter clock within its network architecture.
This precision clock supports the S1’s timing functions and reflects DELA’s focus on network components developed specifically for demanding digital audio systems.
10MHz External Clock Input
A rear 10MHz BNC clock input allows the S1 to connect to a compatible external master clock.
The clock input operates at:
- 10MHz
- 50Ω impedance
- 0.5–5Vpp input level
This provides additional integration flexibility for advanced systems built around a central reference clock.
Large Transformer Power Supply
The S1 uses a substantial internal transformer and capacitor bank rather than a conventional external switching power adaptor.
This dedicated power architecture supplies the S1’s network circuitry, clock and connected modules from within the component’s full-size chassis.
A rear USB 2.0 port also provides up to 0.9A at 5V for power-supply purposes only. It does not function as a USB data connection.
Full-Width Vibration-Resistant Chassis
The S1 is constructed around a robust 3mm stainless-steel chassis with thick aluminium exterior panels.
This rigid enclosure provides mechanical stability for the power supply and network circuitry while visually matching other premium Hi-Fi components.
At approximately 14kg, the S1 has the substantial construction expected from DELA’s flagship network range.
Front-Panel Status Display
Colour-coded front LEDs provide clear confirmation of each port’s connection and communication speed.
A front-panel dimmer control adjusts the brightness of the operational and port-status indicators. The button-section LEDs can also be switched off when a darker listening environment is preferred.
Switchable Rear LEDs
The rear-panel connectors incorporate status LEDs to assist during installation and troubleshooting.
After the network connections and speeds have been confirmed, the rear LEDs can be disabled using a dedicated control.

The DELA S1 is manufactured in Nagoya, Aichi Prefecture, Japan.
Each unit is assembled by trained production specialists, reflecting DELA’s emphasis on precision construction, long-term reliability and dedicated network audio engineering.
