The E-4000 is Accuphase's most powerful integrated amplifier, built directly out of the company's separates engineering. AAVA volume control with the ANCC principle handles level without a variable resistor in the signal path, and the power stage uses balanced instrumentation-amplifier transmission into a four-fold parallel push-pull output of power transistors running in Class AB. High output of 180 watts into 8 ohms and 260 watts into 4 ohms makes light work of demanding loudspeakers.
