High-Performance Carbon Fibre Columns
PlenQ hi-fi furniture exclusively uses carbon-reinforced glass fibre columns manufactured from premium 3K carbon cloth. Each column is internally interconnected via a threaded rod fixed into a custom-engineered, anchored aluminium insert, delivering exceptional rigidity and long-term stability.
There are no visible screws, bolts, springs, washers, or nuts anywhere on PlenQ hi-fi racks. Every element is precisely engineered to fit seamlessly, resulting in a refined, minimalist appearance that reflects true high-end craftsmanship.
All columns have a 25 mm diameter and are supplied in a carefully balanced height configuration to optimise both structural integrity and acoustic performance.
Sustainable Materials with Acoustic Neutrality
PlenQ hi-fi furniture is designed with sustainability at its core. Only environmentally responsible materials with the lowest achievable CO₂ footprint are used throughout the design and production process. Even the manufacture of the carbon tubes is carefully optimised to minimise environmental impact.
Uniquely, this commitment to sustainability also delivers outstanding sonic benefits. Thanks to the refined geometry of the shelves and columns, a PlenQ hi-fi rack has virtually no influence on sound reproduction, allowing loudspeakers and components to perform without coloration or resonance.
Advanced Vibration Isolation
PlenQ shelves feature a sandwich construction that is placed under mutual tension. This design provides exceptional resonance control and energy dissipation, ensuring sensitive hi-fi equipment remains isolated from unwanted vibrations.
The combination of bamboo shelving, carbon columns with fibreglass cores, aluminium interfaces, and polyurethane lacquer creates an acoustically inert platform for turntables, amplifiers, DACs, streamers, and power supplies.
Each component placed on a PlenQ rack is able to perform at its absolute best.
Precision Assembly & Premium Finishes
All visible metal components are manufactured from black anodised 6061 aluminium, chosen for its strength, corrosion resistance, and elegant appearance. Tailor-made aluminium end caps are discreetly recessed into the top shelf, maintaining the clean visual flow of the design.
Custom 25 mm spikes, matched with 25 mm washers and precision lock nuts, ensure stable positioning and accurate adjustment on any surface.

Intelligent Cable Management
Each shelf incorporates two uniquely designed cable recesses, allowing for clean, organised routing of cables. Power and signal cables can be separated to minimise interference and maintain optimal system performance.
The recesses are carefully sized to accommodate large connectors and thick audiophile-grade cables, ensuring compatibility with high-end systems.
