Overview
The Krix Acoustix Evara is a compact 2-way bookshelf speaker from Krix's Evara range, designed and made in Australia. It is a front-vented D'Appolito design, with two 130 mm (5") woofers either side of the tweeter, finished in Krix's matt Studio colours.
The Acoustix Evara is sold as a pair and comes in five finishes: Studio Black, Studio White, Studio Charcoal, Studio Navy and Studio Green.
Placement
- Front vents: both bass reflex vents face forward, and Krix designed it to sit on stands, in shelving or inside custom joinery.
- Stereo or surround: use a pair for a 2-channel system, or as front or rear speakers in a home theatre with the matching Graphix Evara centre and Seismix Evara subwoofers.
Design and Construction
- D'Appolito 2-way layout: the tweeter sits between the two woofers.
- Woofers: 2 x nominal 130 mm (5") doped paper cones in fibre reinforced moulded polymer baskets.
- Terminals: dual binding posts.
- Australian made: Krix has engineered and built speakers in Australia since 1974.
