New for 2023: The Planar 6 now ships with the new look NEO MK2 power supply as standard and is available in a sleek matt white finish. This variant includes a clear dustcover and a clear dual-layer float glass platter.
Ultra-Light Design for Superior Sound
The Planar 6 builds on the success of the RP8 and RP10 turntables. It's the first Rega turntable constructed with an ultra-lightweight Tancast 8 polyurethane foam core plinth, a material developed for the aerospace industry. This core is sandwiched between a new high-pressure laminate (HPL), which is both exceptionally thin and extremely rigid. The plinth is presented in a stunning Polaris matt grey finish with high gloss polymer black edge trim.

RB330 Tonearm: Precision and Stability
The RB330 tonearm is the result of over 35 years of tonearm design experience. Utilizing advanced 3D CAD & CAM technology, it features a new bearing housing and a tonearm tube designed with intelligent mass redistribution. This ensures fewer points of possible resonance, providing extreme stability and almost friction-free movement with high precision bearing assemblies, extracting more detail from your vinyl.
Plinth: Lightweight and Rigid
The Planar 6's plinth is constructed from a super lightweight foam core, covered with a new Polaris HPL, a non-marking, matt finish, scratch-resistant, high-rigidity skin. It is available in Polaris Grey matt finish with high gloss black polymer edge trim.
